Nutrition for training, recovery and competition
A well developed understanding of nutrition is an important component of any training program and quality nutrition ensures an athlete can train at the highest possible level each and every session, along with playing a big part in recovery between sessions.
Establishing high performance eating habits early in life will help set athletes up for a long healthy life and it’s also an approach to eating that will benefit the entire active family. Whilst the nutrition needs of swimmers are individual and vary throughout their development, there are some important guidelines that are applicable to all swimmers.
